Sadly, our 2016 snow kite season is closing in on the end. We have been searching far and wide for the best conditions we can find and up North we may get a few more weeks of riding. However areas south of North Conway are rapidly deteriorating and will likely be out of play after this week. They are forecasting temps near 70F and we feel that the quality of the local ice, although still almost a foot thick, will be rotted out beyond what we would consider reasonable in terms of safety. Clinics held on ice after this week will likely require a bit of travel. Worth the trip however. This will likely be our last condition report for the 2015/16 snow kite season. What a wild (albeit short) season this has been. If anything remarkable happens condition wise we will post an update. Otherwise we hope that this season's condition reports have been helpful in some way and we look forward to seeing you next year!

WARNING. No ice is ever 100% safe. We offer condition reports as a service to our students and clients who are familiar with the area and as a source of general condition information to others. These reports are not intended to replace common sense or up to the minute first hand knowledge of a given area. Nor is it a substitute for common sense. When in doubt don't go out.
