Flysurfer 2016 Peak 4m / Peak Harness Pack / 3 hrs Instruction
The Flysurfer Peak is a purpose built SINGLE SKIN alpine touring kite. A unique design it offers the broadest wind ranges of any kite on the market. Its a low lift touring design but also a great kite for beginners due to it's single skin design and the inherent lack of cells. The compact nature of this kite makes it perfect for touring or travel situations where space and weight are important considerations. We have packaged this kite with the Flysurfer Peak 2 Harness Pack. This pack serves as both a means to store or carry you Peak kite and as a light duty touring harness.

HQ 2016 Apex V 5.5m / Ozone SB Harness / 3 hrs Instruction
The HQ Apex V is the latest version of HQ Apex/Entry level line. Designed to handle gusty conditions and provide low lift it is ideal as a Touring kite for experienced riders and Entry level kite for beginning kiters. For 2016 HQ has equipped the Apex series with a new FLS (Front Line Safety) to ensure total depower of the kite in case of emergency.
Factory recommended wind range for this kite in the 5.5m size is 8 knots to 29 knots. This makes the kite ideal for learning and riding in "normal" conditions but allows for use by experienced riders in high winds.

The Ozone Access is a superb touring, entry level or expert high wind kite. It's got an amazing depower range and some of the smoothest flying characteristics we've ever seen. At Hardwater Kiting we use the Access series as our dual skin school kites and it is a favorite both for us and our students. The Access is a premium kite and you get a lot of value for a little extra money. Ozone's build quality is well known and the Access is no exception. Many of the Ozones we started on over a decade ago are still in use today. Smart features such as blow out valves to protect the kite in the event of a crash and Ozone's unreal Re-Ride safety system make this kite a winner in a wide variety of conditions for a wide variety of riders. Which means for dedicated long term riders the Access is a smart investment whether you want to keep it long term or sell it later. The re-sale on this kite is excellent if you decide to move toward a freestyle type wing.

Design and Performance Features:
- Exceptional Ozone Factory construction – World-class construction in our own factory, using the highest quality materials and hand checked Quality Control at every step. The Ozone factory also manufactures our Paragliding and Speed Wing range; the same Quality Control processes are used across all products.
- Designed with OZ-CAD – The FUTURE is NOW - All Ozone kites are designed and developed using our own highly advanced custom built CAD software. Our designers are able to work with parameters specifically formulated to calculate unique aspects required in technical inflatable and foil kites. Part of our design team is dedicated to the upgrade of the CAD code and addition of new modules and features to the program as the development of our kites continues.
- High Performance Materials – High-tenacity sailcloth with extremely low porosity values and an overall lightweight.
- Performance Double Surface – The Chrono V3 has a lightweight double surface design that is mid-high aspect ratio and combines 38 to 44 cells depending on the size selection. The high number of cells means the ribs are positioned closer together, producing an ultra smooth surface. This corresponds to reduced drag and a clean profile, resulting in superior flight efficiency.
- Leading Edge Profile Reinforcements – The Leading Edge is reinforced with flexible lightweight plastic battens to maintain the shape of the profile during angle of attack changes and turbulent airflow. This drastically improves overall performance as the foil remains true to the designed shape.
- Internal Diagonals and Straps – Internal span-wise straps work in unison with optimized diagonal ribs, distributing load from the bridles evenly and effectively. This increases the internal structural balance, while allowing the top and bottom surfaces to maintain the designed profile without being distorted from indirect tension or loads.
- Optimized Leading Edge Air Intakes – Precisely positioned intake valves along the Leading Edge lead to a stability increase at all angles of attack. The inflation is easy and safe as the kite rapidly inflates.
- Sheathed Dyneema Bridle Lines – High quality, low stretch sheathed Dyneema bridle lines for maximum strength and performance. This is the same bridle line we have used on our snowkite range for the past 10 years.
- Double Pulley Speed System – Using high spec low friction Ronstan Orbit pulleys to reduce wear and rider fatigue while improve feeling and performance of the kite.
- Water Drainage Channels – An internal channel is shaped into the end of each cell along the trailing edge. This allows loose sand or water to run between the cells and out of the tips during flight. The Velcro sealed cells at the tips can be opened for cleaning the kite. Always clean your kite by emptying any water, sand or dirt as this will prolong the life of the kite and help it fly as designed.
- If you are transitioning from LEIs to the Chrono or any other high-performance foil we offer, we recommend scheduling some instructional time with us to ensure you get the best performance and safety possible from your new foil.
